Week 8 Agenda - Lessson Plan

Before class
1. 3 Lesson plan ideas on team blogs
2. Bring a hard copy of your 3 lesson plan ideas

In class

1. Share and discuss lesson plan ideas
Share your 3 lesson plan ideas and give a brief introduction of the resources you plan to use in these ideas. Provide feedback and give your feedback and help each other select one idea to write an lesson plan later on.

Circle one idea you're going to write for the lesson plan, put your email address, any concerns and questions on the paper. You're very welcome to discuss detail with me in class or after class. I'll write you an email if you need help.

2. Evaluation educational resources (Slides)
Keep these criteria in mind when you select your lesson plan resources, such as websites. Also when we're doing the peer review, we're going to refer to these criteria as well.


3. Add more detail in your lesson plan (Slides

After going through the slides, download the template to complete your one lesson plan (expend from one lesson plan idea), upload your draft in your dropbox and bring a hard copy with you next week for peer review.

4. Meet with me to go through your e-portfolio template and get 5 points after class

1. Focus on your one lesson plan -- (1) Upload to oncourse dropbox by next class (2) Bring a hard copy of your lesson plan draft with you

* E-portfolio template grading: You can bring your flash drive in class and go through your e-portfolio template with me before or after class.

After class-
1. Reflection 7 on your team blog and bring a hard copy with you:
3 lesson plan ideas, including the target audience, big idea, goal, standards, and possible resources for each lesson plan idea
2. Please read all lesson plan ideas on your team blog before class, and feel free to give comments to support and help each other. :)
